What started as Alexander Steeb’s idea turned into a fantastic day of insights, conversations, and Bavarian fun - right here in our HQ city, Munich, the capital of Oktoberfest.

Alongside guests from Munich and Berlin, we were joined by participants from Austria, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Portugal, and Spain - bringing together a wonderfully diverse group of perspectives and experiences.

Thomas Dobmeyer, together with his “wing woman” Ilze Lauberte, who joined remotely, shared ekwithree’s journey since its founding. Among many valuable reflections, one point stood out clearly:

The Finyx team - Philip Stewart, Chris Naylor, Dimitris Livanas, and John Rollings - brought their deep experience across all levels of the UK government and reminded us that while technology can drive productivity, real impact happens only when employees feel comfortable using it.

Cybersecurity experts from AV-Comparatives made us reflect on how secure we really are today, both as companies and as individuals.

Maurice Kleimeier, a buy & build expert, shared how this strategy creates value in his industry.

Of course, it wasn’t all about work. We were thrilled to share an authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest experience with our guests - for some, their very first time! Judging by the smiles, everyone had a fantastic time.
