Thomas Dobmeyer is stepping into a new role as investor and Group CEO, bringing together several healthcare-focused companies under one shared vision: end-to-end capabilities across the healthcare value chain, with the clear goal of improving access to effective therapies at a fair price.

Thomas’ move is driven by what great leadership should always be driven by: purpose, alignment, and real value creation - especially in small and lower mid-cap environments where operational proximity makes the difference.

As an entrepreneurial hands-on investor, Thomas will continue to serve as Partner at ekwithree, actively contributing to its ongoing development and long-term direction.

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 - 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝. Leadership is most powerful when it’s driven by purpose, not position. When it’s guided by passion, not obligation. And when what we do is deeply aligned with who we are. Over time, I’ve learnt that leadership becomes truly effective when you understand what makes you tick, and you choose roles accordingly. Not because they look good on paper, but because they allow you to follow your purpose. Capital can scale companies. But leadership shapes them. And especially in small and lower mid-cap companies, value creation often requires operational proximity, not distance. My inner drive has always been about creating value for clients, particularly in healthcare. It’s a space I know inside out, shaped by years as a physician and more than two decades in the industry. That’s why, for me, investing alone is sometimes not enough. In certain situations, stepping into an executive role simply creates more impact. That's why I have decided to step back into an executive role, not as a career move but as a purpose-driven one. This is the thinking behind my new role as Group CEO with G&L Scientific, Entourage, OMAKASE CONSULTING, SmartStep Consulting GmbH, Tolley and Wickstrøm & Langkilde ApS, building one single company, with one single value proposition, with end-to-end capabilities across the healthcare value chain, with one simple goal: better access to effective therapies at a fair price. I am grateful to the CEOs and founders who have placed their trust in me. Leadership is never a solo act. It's built on shared values, ambition, professionalism and respect. Thank you Peter Griffin, Stephen Loughrey, Moritz Haucke, Dominik M. Aumer, Timm Volmer, Xavier Badia, Alicia Gil, Keith Tolley, Mandy Strickson, Jannie Wickstrøm and Lars K Langkilde. I would also like to thank Armira, Thomas Lott-Stroe and Steven Hildemann, MD, PhD for their support and partnership. A special thank you to my ekwithree colleagues Alexander Steeb, Ilze Lauberte and Ieva Kalteniece for having my back while I take on this new role and responsibility. That type of trust and support matters more than most people realize. Prepared luck isn’t coincidence: It’s the result of experience, self-awareness, and staying open-minded and open-hearted. | 71 comments on LinkedIn
