Yesterdayโs ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ#๐ in Munich once again delivered what makes this event so special. Great energy, inspiring people, and meaningful conversations.
ย A big thank you toย Franzi Majer,ย Florian Gottschallerย andย Alexander Brandย for bringing not only your own network but the broader ecosystem together in such a content-rich and inspiring way.
Two moments I keep thinking about:

Georg Hesse, who spent 15+ years at Amazon, shared fascinating insights into which of the companyโs (sometimes peculiar) management techniques actually work outside of Amazon and why.
ย My top takeaways:
ย 1๏ธโฃ WBR, MBR, QBR โ Data-driven Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews with all stakeholders. Theyโre not just meetingsโtheyโre cultural rituals where transparency, self-critique, and clarity are reinforced.
ย 2๏ธโฃ Data & Metric Focus โ Everyone talks about being data-driven, but few are truly obsessed. Amazonโs success is as much about cultural alignment around data as it is about analytics.
ย 3๏ธโฃ Focus on Inputs, not Outputs โ At Amazon, data isnโt about the P&L. Itโs about the drivers of the P&Lโthe actions, processes, and decisions that create outcomes later down the road. I heard that maybe there is a book on Amazon's Mgmt Techniques applied in the wild in the making ;)

ย I was deeply impressed byย Silke Mader, Chairwoman of the Global Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants.
ย Her passion, courage, and truly entrepreneurial mindset applied to a non-profit cause were incredibly inspiring.
ย Her story is a reminder that entrepreneurship isnโt limited to profitโitโs about creating meaningful change. Check out her site if you are intersted in this topic!
