Yesterday’s 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭#𝟑 in Munich once again delivered what makes this event so special. Great energy, inspiring people, and meaningful conversations.
A big thank you to Franzi Majer, Florian Gottschaller and Alexander Brand for bringing not only your own network but the broader ecosystem together in such a content-rich and inspiring way.
Two moments I keep thinking about:
💡 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬
Georg Hesse, who spent 15+ years at Amazon, shared fascinating insights into which of the company’s (sometimes peculiar) management techniques actually work outside of Amazon and why.
My top takeaways:
1️⃣ WBR, MBR, QBR – Data-driven Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews with all stakeholders. They’re not just meetings—they’re cultural rituals where transparency, self-critique, and clarity are reinforced.
2️⃣ Data & Metric Focus – Everyone talks about being data-driven, but few are truly obsessed. Amazon’s success is as much about cultural alignment around data as it is about analytics.
3️⃣ Focus on Inputs, not Outputs – At Amazon, data isn’t about the P&L. It’s about the drivers of the P&L—the actions, processes, and decisions that create outcomes later down the road. I heard that maybe there is a book on Amazon's Mgmt Techniques applied in the wild in the making ;)

I was deeply impressed by Silke Mader, Chairwoman of the Global Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants.
Her passion, courage, and truly entrepreneurial mindset applied to a non-profit cause were incredibly inspiring.
Her story is a reminder that entrepreneurship isn’t limited to profit—it’s about creating meaningful change. Check out her site if you are intersted in this topic!
